OK I'm leaning towards a 1050 now. I'm willing to part with DTS-ES and 7.1 since the sound will be better. The only thing holding me back now is the lack of Pro Logic II.

I would have no interest in this for music, as I will be listening to 2 channel stereo mostly, but for TV watching does it improve anything?

Television was never made to be reproduced in surround sound right? If I did watch (insert TV show here) with PL2 what would be comming from the back speakers?
