If you are, please post some comments here. I'm sure the benefits are great; I'd just like to hear some feedback. Thanks, Steve

I am and I'm very happy with it. I've never owned separates before and it's a real step up from using a receiver. I had an Onkyo DS575X before and that wasn't a bad piece of equipment, but the Outlaw gear allows me to hear things in movies and music that I never heard before.

By the way I received the 1050 1 day before I received the 750 so I hooked it up to my speakers just to see what it sounded like all by itself. Again it was a definite step up from my Onkyo and the Denon I had before that. It sounded very clean and powerful compared to my other receivers.

I plan on buying one of Outlaws pre/pros when they are released.

I am using both also. I can't add much to what Bones said, except to rave on the 750 a bit more. It is a fabulous amp and will be with me for a long time. Endless power that will never crap out on you. The 1050 is fine for the money, but I look forward to the upcomming pre/pro's.

I'm using the 1050/750 combination as well. It's kind of a holdover while waiting to see the new Pre/Pros. Started with the 1050, decided I wanted more power and got the 750. It's almost a shame to have a receiver with the power of the 1050 being used only for pre/pro, but I will use it to anchor a new bedroom HT when it gets replaced. Something I 'm hoping for on the new pre/pros will more more optical/digital inputs(I have all 3 used and wouldn't mind a fourth), and perhaps more robust component switching options. With the gear I have now, I can't use the 1050 as a central switch/focal point controller as I'd like.

Component list is as follows:

Mitsubishi 46807
Outlaw 1050
Outlaw 750
M&K S150 L/C/R
M&K MPS1625 surrounds
SVS 20-39CS Sub
Mitsubishi DD-6000
Dish Networks 6000 w/OTA module
Dish Networks 5000 w/HDTV module - for HDTV recording source
HTPC w/HiPix HDTV card and Audiophile 2496 sound card
Audiosource amp to drive the sub
Considering a Sony CX90ES to manage CD collection
Phillips Pronto(work in progress) to control the whole mess

I've got both and I'm a happy camper. In all honesty though, I'm not sure I needed the 750. It's incredibly clean power but then so is the 1050. You might want to see if the 1050 "floats your boat" and if it doesn't then add the 750. Either way, you are still getting a great deal for your money.

At first, I was very disappointed by the sound (not feature set) of the 1050 receiver/processor. However, you must understand that I am accustomed to listening to 200Watt monoblock Wolcott Audio tube amps (EL34), Audio Research SP9 Pre-amp, driving big Snell speakers.

So I decided to use the pre-amp out of the Outlaw 1050 to drive the the Wolcott amps. WOW! What a difference some power makes.

That's when I decided that with the 30-day money back guarantee, I would try out Outlaw's 750 5-channel amp.

I did, and even with the large Snells, the combo can't be beat for the price. Moroever, it can drive the big NHT center & surround speakers, as well being fairly musical for my DVD-Audio discs (Technics DVD-A10).

I've tried NAD, Parasound, and B&K. For the price, nothing beats the Outlaw combo.

Good luck,

:-) neil
