Here's what the Brickwall folks had to say when I inquired about buying a whole bunch of them for recording studio/concert use:

The PW8R15AUD has isolation between the duplexes(for 4 isolated banks of outlets). The PW2RAUD has an oversized reactor (20 amps). Their performance characteristics for incoming line filtering and surge protection are roughly the same. If you do have large amplifiers used, you may want to go with the PW2RAUD. The PW8R15AUD handles most complete systems or boards provided the amps are not too large or are used in multiples.
