I have been thinking about buying an APC (LE1200VA) voltage regulator to protect my Outlaw 770 amp from voltage spikes/surges/brownouts or what ever.
Currently I have my amp hooked to a basic surge protector.
Here is what I am looking at.

Would this restrict my amps performance? I want to protect my 770, but I don’t want to restrict it either.

Here's the one item that would worry me:

The 770 is a beast, so much so that Outlaw recommends a 20A circuit (although the typical 15A circuit is sufficient for most normal uses). I read the specs on that APC unit to indicate that it will only support up to 10A of output.
