Looks like the 770 wil not be replaced by the 790. From the news letter it looks like the new 770 (Outlaws please give us a name) will have balanced inputs and who knows whatelse!

I read the newsletter that said that outlaw will be selling the replacement for the 790/755 in ~ 2 months.

I've just started to build out my HT, and have picked out the front / centers and surrounds for my 5.1 system. I won't have them for about two months.

I'm tempted to get the 990/755 combo, but before I pull the trigger, I'd like to know what new features the replacement for the 7xx series will have.

I know balanced inputs is one difference, 300 watts/channel is a rumor I read somewhere.

Does anyone have more info? I'd hate to get the 755, and kick myself in 6 weeks for not waiting for the NBT (next big thing)... :-)

thanks,
Francis

300W will be the new Model 790. The replacements for the 770 and 755 will apparently stay at 200W/channel. Aside from balanced inputs and the new front panel styling, I don't know what they might have in mind for the new amps.
