I was gonna say, I've never had that problem from a mono dvd before. But it sounds like you've got a bigger problem to deal with. I'd say a call to Outlaw tech support is in order.

Sorry to hop onto another post, but I think this question is related. What mode do you select on the 1050 when you want to see if it's recieving a dolby digital or dts signal?? Also, does selecting another mode, as in stereo, make that mode the default under that selected component?

I'm using my Mac G4 for DVD playback and sending the audio signal thru a M-Audio Sonica. I can never tell if it's actually sending a mult-channel signal or not. I also don't have surround speakers, yet, so I'm wondering if the stereo mode I've selected cancels out the multi-channel signal. Oh well, thanks for any help!
