I have the very same issues. I own 2 of the 950s, both around 10 years old. One of them still works perfectly and the other one exhibits all of the problems mentioned in the previous post above.

I had it outside ready to toss, and then decided to read the forums first before I trashed it. I am glad to see that there has been success in repairing them. I will contact the Outlaw techs after the weekend.
