I've had two Parasound stereo amps, and installed two of their multichannel amps for a friend's multi zone application I helped design for him. I've had nothing but good experience with their products.
I bought an Outlaw 1050 back in 2001 and when I upgraded my mains I picked up a 125WPC Parasound HCA-1000A to power them.
I thoroughly enjoyed the HCA-1000A; build quality was excellent, clarity and seperation was a noticeable improvement over the 1050's inboard amp channels.
I only got rid of it when I picked up an Outlaw 750 and wanted to match the power output to the 750 more closely. I replaced it with a Parasound HCA-1500A, rated at 205WPC. I bought both amps used and sold them for very close to what I paid for them.
Like Gonk I have no personal experience with the newer models although the "New Classic" is fairly close in spec to the HCA line, which I used.
HTH,
Tony.
