Thanks. I'll get one and check it out, as it is the only solution I see for my intended setup.

I assume you are using it to flatten out your sub response as well. Did you plug a mic into it and use its auto features to do that?

I actually haven't used its auto-calibration feature, though I'm told it works pretty well. I borrowed a totally different piece of hardware to analyze my room.

I found I had exactly three resonances in my room below 80 Hz (floor-ceiling and wall bounces, well matched to theoretical prediction). While I'd been able to minimize them with careful driver placement, I still had about 5 dB peaks. They were well resolved and audible. So instead of using the auto functions, I just dialed them out with three individual notch filters in the DCX2496, then verified the result. Easy to do. I didn't want to overfilter the signal or include any boost.

Still, if you use the auto-equalization feature, it should be pretty easy to adjust it by hand afterward if you see something that doesn't look right.
