Hey all! Been forever since I've been here. I like the new layout
My 950 has been serving me faithfully for 3 years now. A while ago the volume knob started freaking out - if I spin it in one direction, sometimes the volume goes in the other, something nothing happens at all - but other than that, it's been a reliable workhorse.
Recently, it's picked up an annoying habit. When I'm listening to audio through one of the Coax digiat inputs and any electrical load shows up in the house, it loses the signal and has to reaquire it. It then works normally again.
It started out with the bathroom light/fan going on, but seems to be getting progressively worse. If any light in the house comes on, it loses the signal. When my wife opens the fridge and the light goes on the 950 occasionally loses the signal. It's very aggravating. The problem doesn't happen with optical or analog inputs.
Nothing else is on the circuit with the Outlaw besides the TV. They're on a Monster surge strip/conditioner (I forget the model).
Any suggestions on narrowing the problem before I call Outlaw support?
A few things I haven't tried yet, but will ASAP:
Making the COAX run very short.
Trying different digital inputs.
Thanks!
