hi I have searched here and also on remotecentral.com, but came up empty. I am looking for Discrete HEX codes (pronto format) for my 950 for the following functions:

-select the "FM" tuner input
-mute ON
-mute OFF

Right now, the AM/FM input select (as well as the mute button) are working as toggles, so if my 950 happens to be on the FM tuner already when my scheduled task fires, then it goes to AM which is not what I wanted.

I need these codes to complete my home automation project, any help is appreciated!!

I'm afraid that I do not believe that these discrete codes exist - I've certainly never heard about them, and I was one of the first people to get a 950.

well that is sad to hear, very sad. What about the 990, does it have better support for discrete codes? I was thinking of upgrading anyway, but I wont if it has the same problem.

You might check with Outlaw, but I have not seen any information on any of Outlaw's gear supporting discrete AM and FM remote codes or discrete mute on and off.

You could achieve discrete muting with a pair of commands: volume up followed by volume down would get the mute off and put you back at the original volume, and a volume adjustment followed by mute would serve as a discrete mute on.

yes I figured out that volume/mute trick as well.. but the real problem is the AM/FM toggling. Looks like I am S.O.L on that one. sigghh
