What does it do? Theres a switch on the back for turning it on or off. From reading the intructions I thought I was suppose to turn it On?(I have small sat. speakers that dont extend low) I turned it off and the bass seemed to a get stronger for me(thats a good thing) laugh

The analog bass management applies only to the 5.1 analog input. It was included because many DVD-Audio and SACD players lack bass management, that the analog BM on the 950 applies an 80Hz crossover to all five full range channels, redirecting information below that point from those channels to the sub.
