My Hot Link Pro IR repeater does not do well with my 950. What is the best solution?

If I need an IR link that plugs into the back of the 950, where do I buy such a thing?

For what it's worth, I had good success with my 950 and some Xantech stuff I got from HomeTech . I ran a cable from the connecting block (a CB60) to the rear IR input of the 950 and a number of IR emitters (282M and 284M single and double emitters) to other components. I've got some notes if you are interested.

I purchased a Xantech 291-10-RP ir receiver. It comes with a connector block. With a 12v power supply powering the block and a mono mini plug connector cable plugged in to the 950's main ir input I still get nothing! Using an ir emmiter in front of the 950's ir window I get sketchy results. Can anyone tell me exactly where the ir window is? This shouldn't be this hard!
