Hello All,
Question regarding the multi-zone output of the 950: Does the 950 make the assumption that the speakers attached to the second zone amp are full range "large" speakers? Or does the output somehow hit the x-over inside the 950? Granted, most 2nd zone speakers really could not be considered "large", but I still but want the lows to hit my inwalls throughout the house.

it SHOULD be full range,i just buzzed through the manual and was surprised their was no mention of it.

do you have easy access to the back of your system,just connect the front l/r of your amp to second zone outputs and crank up those 604's

do an a/b test with the sub off,then you tell us!

The second zone of the 950 is essentially a separate two-channel analog pre-amp. There is no bass management applied to that output.

Thanks for the input. I figured it worked this way but was not sure. painttoad, i thought of doing what you suggested, but unfortunately access to the back of my rack is not really what I would call easy. I figured I'd post the question here and if no-one could provide the answer, hook things up as you suggested.
