Hi, I'm the proud owner of the Outlaw 950/770. My speakers are:
Def Tech BP7002 mains
Def tech C/L/R 2000 Center
Def Tech BPX surrounds

My question is: My BP 7002 are not Bi-amp capable, but I was wondering if I connect the extra 2 channels (rears) to my fronts as well, sending 400 watts to the mains. What benefits if any would that give me? And Would you recommend this. I'm not using the rear channels right now. Just want to know if this would improve me over all sound.

You can't bridge the channels of the 770. The 200W should be plenty.

QQKLTB :

just in case you are thinking twice as much power will be twice as loud,it's not true!

i'll save my boring, possibly incomplete explanation and recommend a google search on sound pressure level.and somewhere there is a chart that shows everyday sounds, types of music, power levels required to reach pressure levels with a variety of speaker sensitivities in a typical room.it's actually informative.

don't want to see you go buy a 400 watt amp(per side) and realize it's not that much louder.although if your subs weren't powered it would probably make a bigger difference, but that's not the case.

Any suggestions on what I can do with the extra channels, I have no room to mount rear speakers because my seating is along the back wall

Just let them sit there unused. You will find a use someday, maybe another HT setup, maybe different speakers.
