I have a DVD player, HDTV DVR and a PS2. There are only 2 comp video connections on the back of the 950. If I connect the PS2 via S-video, do I need to run compnent video AND S-video to my projector. I am not worried about up conversion, I will soon have a video processor for that but if I decide to by the 950/770 combo, I want to know if I need to run more than one cable to the projector.

Yep, you will need to run an s-video cable to the projector to display composite and s-video inputs; the 950 does not convert those signals to component video.

Yes. You will need to run component and s-video cables to the projector. The 950 does not transcode the s-video or composite signals to the component outputs.

It does, however, transcode between s-video and composite, so the one s-video cable will get all your s-video and composite inputs to the projector from the 950.
