Gonk, where are you.

I have just hooked up my Polk Audio FXi5 side surrounds. I know that I should set them to small, but what do I set the crossover point on the 950 to. This is a quick link to the specs on the speaker if you need them.http://www.polkaudio.com/home/specs.php?category=6&speaker=354

Well I'm not Gonk, but why don't you start at 80. Are you listening to surround music, movies, both? If you are into audio dvd's I would experiment with 80 or 100 crossovers,if neither sound right to you, go ahead and try 60; it can't hurt.

thank you for your reply. I am about 90% movies and 10% music. I have it at the default setting of 100.

The -3dB point for these speakers is listed as 55Hz, so Alejate's right on target - I'd start at 80Hz and might experiment a little with 60Hz and 100Hz.
