have any of you had any problems with the component video switching. here is my setup: dvd player connected to component input 1, dish sat hd receiver connected to component input 2, component out to hd ready tv. while watching various dvds, the video display would stop (tv screen blank) audio continues without a prob. switch to the sat and tv displays horizontal lines very briefly than nada. going directly from from dvd player to tv works fine, as does going from sat directly to tv.

I have not run into that - I've been using the 950's component switching since getting an HDTV in May (DVD on component 1, DVD-R on component 2) without any problems. I suppose there could be a problem with the set of component cables going from your 950 to the TV, but that seems a little unlikely. If you haven't done so already, I'd suggest touching base with Outlaw's tech support .
