I have Denon 2200 DVD player and never had any digital signal loss on my 950 so far during layer changes.

I have a new Denon 3910, and have not seen a layer change since I got it !!

I had a Denon 5900 for a short while, but still saw layer changes, only more brief than before, so all Denons are not equal in this regard.

I suspect the 2910 wil function the same way as the 3910, though.
