The September 2001 issue of Stereophile's Guide to Home Theater includes an article reviewing "6 Budget Loudspeakers" (all of which are over my surround speaker budget! ).
The amp used to evaluate these speakers - an Outlaw 1050. It includes a quick one-page review of the 1050 (quite positive). I did not get the chance to read the speaker reviews, in which I'd expect the occasional reference to the 1050. Perhaps someone with the magazine could report here any relevant passages.
The takeaway for me is that when Stereophile GHT uses your amp (among the many available to them) to evaluate speakers, you probably have a good amp.
Has Stereophile GHT done any more reviews of the 1050?
