Does anybody know if the 950 preamp has the dvi output for the newer tv's and dvd players?

no the 950 does not, the new 1070 receiver will though when it comes out later this year.

Where did you hear that the new 1070 receiver will have DVI output? I hope they do include DVI and/or firewire outputs. I have no use for analog component video output and will not be interested in purchasing this product if that is the only video output provided.

What I would really like to see, is a new video processor to compliment the 950 sound processor. I wish the folks at Outlaw Audio would take a look at Key Digital's new "HD Hana" video processor which also includes a digital set-top box...
