Hello All.
I am new here and have been thinking about upgrading my processor so I've been reading up on the 950. I like the 950 for a couple reasons-1) price 2) component video switching and 3)5.1 inputs.
I am trying to decide whether to upgrade solely for the video switching and 5.1 in capabilities.
I would like to know if anybody has owned a Lexicon DC1 v4 with upgraded DAC's and how the 950 compares in actual sound/video quality. I would really appreciate if we compare apples to apples in this case because the Lexicon has been very good and it will need to go if I swap processors.
In case it matters, my setup consists of the Lex DC1, 51" Panasonic, Rotel 1075, 5-RBH SE series (4ohm), SVS 20-39PC+ (an absolutely brutal sub), Denon 2200 (sure would be nice to have 5.1 inputs) and Nordost Blue Heavens IC's and cables.
