I am currently looking for a 6.1 receiver and the outlaw 1050 is my front runner. The only thing that bothers me is they 12v. I have seen on this board that it is not 12v. I have a Monster HTS3500 and would like it to trigger my equipment if possible. Has anyone been able to get it to trigger that Monster without having to buy the Niles gadget ($100)?

I use the Niles OTI-512 to trigger a Monster HTS3000 and an HTS2500. The trigger power was insufficient to trigger either unit individually for me. With the OTI-512 it works perfectly and has never failed to trigger either or both units.
