Hi, Happy New Year to you all!
I am trying to program my 950 to control my Echostar (Dish Network) receiver (DP301). The listed 006 code doesn't seem to work. Autosearch doesn't help either. I am programming CBL button, because my SAT button controls my Hughes receiver.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Dima.

Two possibilities:

1) Learn the commands manually to the CBL button.

2) Since you are learning a satellite box code to the CBL button, you may need to tell the remote you are using a SAT code. This is mentioned on page 33 of the SL-9000 manual (which is the remote Outlaw includes with the 950, although the 950 omits the LCD display). It may also appear in the 950's manual, but I didn't see it when I skimmed through it just now. In your case, you would press "CBL" and "MUTE" together (as you have been doing), then "SAT", and then the code (006, in your case). That tells the remote to look at the codes for a satellite box rather than a cable box.

Thank you for your reply. It really worked like a charm for me.
