Did it detect the DTS-ES and then run in DTS 5.1 mode perhaps? I don't remember at the moment how the DTS-ES flags work -- if it changes the mode automatically or not. If the display said DTS-ES the whole time (not just the moment when it acquired the signal), then you can ignore this, but if it reverted to "DTS" afterward you'd need to push the "DTS" button on the 950's remote a time or two to put it in the right mode.
