How does Dolby ProLogic II sound?

Is it worth waiting for 950 (plus another
$1099 for an Outlaw amp)?
Or, should I go ahead for a 1050?

I've heard nothing but positive things about DPL II, but haven't heard it myself.

Do you listen to a lot of two-channel material that you would use DPL II for (DVD's with DD 2.0 mixes, CD's that you want to listen to in surround mode, VHS tapes, ...)? Or do you largely listen to DVD's with DD5.1 and DTS mixes and music in two-channel? If your answer is the former, and you are game to pay the extra $400 + the extra money for amplification, and you can wait until the 950 ships, the 950 may be the way to go.
