Can I configure the 1050 to work with a 2 channel Amp? Will this benefit me, either for home theater or DVD-Audio ?

TIA

You can simply connect the left & right main pre-amp outs to a 2 channel amp. I think doing that may allow the 1050's amp to provide at least a little more power to the other channels (I know when you hook up a 5 channel amp, the rated output to the 6th channel rises from 65W to 90W). If the separate amp is better than the 1050's internal amp, it would probably be helpful -- especially if you listen to 2-channel music a lot.
