Hey everyone, I'm a fairly new member of the Outlaw family, having just bought the 1050 in April of this year. I love it, but there's just one thing that bothers me - it runs extremely hot!! Almost too hot to touch, but not quite. It sits in a Premier audio rack, open on all sides, with 3 inches between the top of the receiver and the bottom of the next shelf, so it should be adequately ventilated.
I've tried to set the impedance switch to 4 ohms, but it doesn't seem to help. I have 4 Bang & Olufsen S45 bookshelf speakers, with a NHT Audiocenter-1 for my center channel. All speakers are rated 6 ohms.
It 1050 feels to be the same temperature if it's playing a CD quietly in stereo, or blasting the latest DVD. Basically, I just want to know if everyone's 1050 runs hot, or what. I've been assured my Outlaw this my receiver is "running well within it's operational standards." Just a question I wanted to ask...
Thanks for any replies in advance!
