They're good, well-made cables. I've used them for several sources (including multichannel analog from my DVD-A/SACD player). I'm using PCB's between my 990 and 7500 at the moment, with PCA's between the 990 and my M200's. I switched the cables from my DVD-A/SACD player due to length (have a 0.5-meter set of PCA's that just couldn't quite reach in this cabinet and got tired of fighting it).

For regular DVD duties, you'll want a proper digital audio cable (like the PDO or PSC) for the optical or coaxial digital audio connection.
