I just got these for my surround speakers (since Outlaw does not offer speaker cables that I know of).I had read favorable reviews and was in need of upgrading my 16 gauge monster wire. Let me tell you, I used to think my surrounds sounded pretty good. I did not know what I was missing. The improvement blew me away. I don't know if it is just because the Monster was that bad or the Cobalts are that good but, suffice it to say ,the Monsters I had for the fronts and center went on Ebay and the Cobalts are in the mail. I hightly recommend Cobalt...at least until Outlaw gets a speaker cable wink

I use Cobalt speaker cables myself and they do sound better than my previous monster cable, and are a great value.Plus, if you can't hide your cables, they look cool.... wink wink

Yes they do. They are very well made. I was surprised that they sound better than the monster which costs almost two times as much..Goes to show that more expensive does not always mean better.

I agree.

Just curious, what's the gage number of your Cobalt cable?

i was on a site recently looking at cables and the 'generic'(their high end) cables costing around $20(1/2 meter) a pair had connectors that were almost embarassing similar to my straightwires($200/pair) although the actual cable was different.
i am talking about interconnects, not speaker.

shop around,don't pay too much.

I am set. Get all my Cobalts so I don't see me spending any more dough in the near future. My interconnects are all Outlaw, by the way. Speakers are Cobalt.
