I recently have been coverting my Coax digital connections to Optical. In that time I purchased a $80 Monster THX select Optical cable (4ft) and the 1.8m $20 Optical digital cable from Outlaw. The outlaw cable is evey bit as well made as the Monster THX cable. What a waste of the extra $60. In my listening they perform the same (that speaks very badly for the Monster Cable).

When I got the Optical cable I also purchased two of the silver S cables. These cables are very well made and substantial. I can see detail in movies that I have not seen in years. I am really glad that I didn't spring for those Transparent S video cables.

I was a bit skeptical about ordering something unseen, but my limited experience tells me that these two products are well worth the money.

If this is the quality of all their products I can't wait for the next generation pre-amp to come out!
