I have the 1050, and I've tried to calibrate the output level of my R/L front speaker. When I press the Test button on the receiver I can change the ouput level for all the speakers except the right front speaker. When I tried to change the level the volume increase or decrease instead of the output level. Does anyone has any suggestion on how to change the ouput level for the front right speaker?

thanks,
cip

The Model 1050 does not have individual trim level adjustment for the mains. The trim level for the left and right channels is fixed. The center and surround channels are adjustable to match the left and right channels.

maybe you could use the balance control for a slight adjustment of the main speakers.

Like E-dogg said just go to channel balance and go to right channel to decrease volume or to left to increase on the right channel,(which you would be decreasing on the left channel)I hope this helps.

Thanks guys for your replies. How come I can change the output level for the left speaker and not the right speaker?

According the manual, you can't change either of them -- could you have been changing the master volume? I haven't messed with speaker calibration on the 1050 in a while...

As I have my test signal running in my left speaker, I can adjust it by turning the master volume. My right speaker, while silent, also changes to match the left. If you re-adjust the right, the left will change again to match it.On my 1050 both speakers volumes are tied together. The balance control will allow you a little adjustment though.
