I recommend that before tackling this project, you become proficient with soldering, and follow the instructions exactly. Not doing so can cause problems with your equipment!

Too bad, all those valuable discussions are taken out. What started out as a simple DIY project for my HT, I ended up learning a great deal more than just IC cable construction here.
