Hi, this is my first post here, I'm thinking about getting a 1050.
My thinking suddenly became more immediate this week.
I bought a Pioneer DVD-RW drive for my PC, and am using Ulead DVD Workshop to author DVD-R's, mainly of older, cheesy sci-fi movies that aren't available on prerecorded DVD.
The DVD-R's have audio in 2-channel MPEG audio format, and I've found my Sony EP9-ES external surround processor won't recognize it through the digital input!
When I watch one of my DVD-R's, I have to use my DVD player's *analog* outputs to feed my analog surround receiver's left and right analog inputs.
Does the Outlaw 1050 recognize 2-channel MPEG audio through its coaxial digital input and apply Pro Logic decoding to it?
Thanks...
