I am looking for interconnects for a future DVD Audio/SACD player and was wondering what others are using. Thanks for any input.

The stock ICs in my sony 999es DVD player's audio output stage are:
NJR model NJM2114 dual op amps.
I removed the analog board and then removed the three NJM2114s and insatlled three high quality 8 pin dip IC sockets.
I installed and am now evaluating Texax Instruments OPA2132 or Analog Devices AD826 dual op amps.
Both of these are a noticable improvement over the stock NJM2114 op amps.
The OPA2132 is used in the Sony xa777es player's anallog output stage.
Eventually, I would like to make adapter boards (I am working on the PCB layout) that will plug into the 8 pin sockets that will allow me to use single op amps per package: I would like to try the OPA627 and the AD843. Also this adapter board will have a DC servo circuit that will allow me to do away with the output coupling capacitor at the output of the 999es audio analog outputs. The xa777es has these capacitors also but impliments them better. The adapter board will have the option of a current source to bias the output of the opamps into class A for a few milliamps of output current to either the positive or negative voltage rail.
It would be best to layout a new analog output board, but buying all new quantities of audiophile-grade (audio jewelry grade and priced to match) resistors, capacitors, msc regulators, etc. would be very expensive for just one board, so I will modify the exitsing boards, which has at least good quauity passive components.
Inter Connects ?!?! OH!
Optical and electrical are:
Outlaw Audio, of course.

I have a sony strdb940 that I use for digital dolby and dts movie decoding.
My 999es DVD player sends a digital bitstream via the electrical coax to the receiver whose preamp outputs feed a set of inputs of a sony tap-9000es 5.1ch preamp.
CD/SACD comes from the analog outputs of the player to another set of inputs on the tap-9000es preamp, requiring 6 analog cables.
This setup uses the receiver to decode the dolby or dts digital bitstream. Another option is to have the 999es DVD player do the dolby/dts decoding and supply an analog output, via 6 cables, to the analog 5.1 input on the receiver.
I would suspect that in my case, the 999es has better dolby/dts decoding than the receiver. Someday, when I am in an adventerous mindset, I will rewire my system and check it out. Right now, beings I am tinkering with the analog output stage on the the 999es, I do not want to change the setup.

...started out with a short stack here of PCA and one PDO with my 950/770 order. Due to my satisfaction with the quality and preformance have slowly sent in some more orders and bascily revamped all my IC to Outlaw products. Purchased additionaly for my mothers/MIL displays also.... I'm sold on them.

I am using everything left in the closet. This includes a pair of Music Metre, 3 DIY which are pretty good, one monster for LFE. I am going to make up my own set and match a little better if I ever get all my equipment back in working order.
