I'm using the coax digital output from my Toshiba DVD to drive my 1050's digital coax input. Should the little orange indicator arrow just to the upper right of the front panel L.E.D. display be pointing to DD or PCM? It points to PCM , even while playing DD discs. My DVD player is a 2002 model w/ DD & DTS decoding. Am I missing something- or does the 1050 only indicate "DD" whe receiving discrete inputs via the 5.1 ch. rca jacks? Thanks.

Make sure your player is set up to output DD and DTS from the coax input. Many are set up to output PCM by default fro whatever strange reason.
