With a receiver, the ICBM has only one place to go: between teh C950 and the V2500. Some people put ICBM's between a receiver or processor and an outboard amp, but that's not an option in this case. With the ICBM in this position, you would use it for DVD-Audio and SACD playback (and possibly CD's, if the C950 is better behaved than my Yamaha S1500 and will let you have multichannel analog output for DVD-A and SACD but still have CD's output in stereo - my S1500 forces Pro Logic II decoding onto CD's when listening to the 5.1 output). With the ICBM, you can direct low frequency from the five full-range channels to the sub, so that the .1 from DVD-A and SACD will have low frequency from the other five channels added in. That combined data will go to whatever is connected to the V2500's sub output (which it sounds like would be the two 12" subs in the 7002's in your case).
