(Pat means June/July 2000, and it is a two-year warranty if I remember correctly)

I haven't heard about digital inputs failing, so it isn't a common problem. Coax-to-optical converters do exist, which would be one workaround if the the coax input has failed but the optical inputs still work. I'd check in with Outlaw first, though.
