Recently purchased an ICBM, it's made a much bigger improvement than I expected. I'm running it between Pioneer Elite DV-45A universal player, and Outlaw 1050.

I see that I am supposed to set all speaker settings to the same distance from the primary listener position, just wondering why this is? Does it have to do with phase synch? I have the surrounds set to differnt distances, and am having trouble getting the sub phase correct. I'm running an LFM-1 and either phase setting, 0 & 180, don't get the phase working right.

I'm using the Chesky set up disc, it always sounds louder in the "out of phase" part regardless of phase switch setting.

You are correct about the reason for the speaker distance settings - the goal is to avoid having bass from different channels manipulated when the channels are delayed differently.
