will I need 6 additional audio interconnects when my ICBM arrives? Sorry for the newb question...this home theater gig is still new to me. Thanks for the help.

You are correct. You'll have the six cables that you already have connecting the player to your receiver (or receiver to amp if you are putting the ICBM there), which will now go from player to ICBM, plus six more cables going from ICBM to receiver.
