The Magnepan edition is made in limited quantities and includes some higher crossover points than the standard ICBM, for optimal use with Magnepan speakers. It's the better choice for someone using Magnepan speakers (or perhaps some other pure electrostatic type speakers), but for most setups the standard model is fine.
