Just picked up the new Batman on BD. Should make for an interesting surround experience.

I also saw where they are going to have a live viewing online with director Christopher Nolan. First 100,000 to sign in are sure to have a seat. All I could think of though was... who freakin cares. I just bought a copy and can watch it when I want and where I want. I don't know maybe someone will find this to be exciting.

The Dark Knight was awesome for sure, and Heath Ledger deserves more than just an Oscar nod for his portrayal of the Joker. He really took that character and made it his own. You don't get that these days with many actors, especially with a lot of the crap Hollywood is pimping to the public nowadays. That being said though I doubt he will get his just due recognition. Hollywood is to high brow to take notice of a comic book caricature. I don't like his chances.
