Baristaman,

this is unrelated question. I thought barista may know it. Is it true that the milk they use is what makes cappuccino taste better in Italy? I have not been able to find the same great tasting cappuccino here in the States. That's one of the things I miss ever since my semester spent in Florence back in college years.

Spiker,
No, I don't believe that it's the milk.
The Italians invented the process and are just better at it.
Thanks to Starbucks, espresso has been American-ized to suit the palate of the average consumer.

I have to say that The HULK was much better than I thought it would be. It brought back many good feelings that I got long ago from reading HULK comics as a child. That's about as good a as any director can hope to do, and Ang Lee actually did an admirable job. I look foward to HULK battling the likes of the RHINO and ABOMINATION in sure-to-follow sequels.

I agree.

The Hulk was my favourite comic book and what impressed me so much about Ang Lee's direction was how true to the form he was. His split and multi-screen use in particular.

My children (all teens) all hated it - my 17 year old son the most. My guess is it's because the look and feel of comics nowadays is considerably different than a generation or two ago. Not bettter, or worse. Just much different.

Didnt you guys think the opening sequencs was to long to explain how he became the HULK and to introduce the charcters. It was a good forty minutes and could have been 15. And that split screen stuff is for the birds. I dont like it in any movie. BUT... the HULK sequences were fantastic I could hardly belive how well it was done. As the HULK would say "Less puny Banner... More HULK!"

I agree with e-dogg, the set up of the story was too long. There was good use of the LFE channel in this DVD.

I loved the Hulk when I was a kid, but was not terribly impressed by the movie. I am not sure why, but it just did not grab me. The sound and special effects were great, to be sure. I enjoyed Spiderman a lot more.

I was particularly put off by the scene where the Hulk used a Superautomatic machine and tried to froth no fat milk instead of 2%. When he frothed it to 165 degrees (and without freezing his frothing pitcher beforehand, I might add), I was really put off.

(just trying to cover all aspects of this thread)

Other than doing it out of diet requirement and or guilt, who really enjoys the taste of those non-fat such & such?

The taste buds on human tongue are programmed to recognize fat as good tasting (Discovery channel). Fat is good for our body but the problem occurs when we get too much of it.

What does it have to do with The Hulk? Not much...

Well, I think that if the Hulk had more non-fat items in his diet maybe he's look more like Spiderman. I know he's rock-solid, but he looks a bit overweight to me.

I have always had better luck with 2% than no fat. Could be just me though.

How did I get to this point in this thread? Does owning a 950/770 have more than audible effects?

It may be the forum rather than the 950 -- the login browser cookie probably tastes better with milk...
