Forget Fox' puny efforts (480p, near mono sound, 4:3 aspect ratio) and the others, nothing beats ABC's widescreen, true hi-def, 5.1 surround, Monday Night Football. Absolutely stunning picture. Incredible sound. And John Madden to boot!

If you want to demo what true hi-def is all about, this is it.

Put the beer on ice and invite the friends over. This is as good as it gets.

Though FOX does do it's main game of the week in 16:9...I assume you are talking ExpressVu (I believe you are another Canuk) but it is nice to see and hear the game the way it should!

StarChoice - but it's just as bad (actually worse) when it comes to its HD channel selection / lineup. Luckily ABC's Monday Night Football is carried (albeit with screwed-up programming guide listings!) - and comes through perfectly.
