You are absoultely correct sir with the above statements! Being a radio operator, I can tell you that going to radio shack and buying a $5 (maybe more now) ferrite Core, give the cable a few winds and it will be gone! Do this for the speakers affected. It seems to me that there is a transmitter very close to you causing the problem. It's funny how Rf gets into things. My Brother once had a remote control toy tank...somewhere inside the tank we could hear telephone conversations .. lol we knew that we were receiving such calls when we'd lose control of the tank..haha. My Radio Shack remote, similar to the 1050's, also whines. When the whine stops it means the batteries are low. Fresh batteries make the whine very loud, but it dies down in a few days.
