I've had the same thing happen. Someone in my area has either a CB, or HAM radio. When he broadcasts at a frequency which is sympathetic to cable, or wire length, such as the windings of a transformer, I receive his signal. I have not been able to eliminate this problem. Any suggestions?
You are absoultely correct sir with the above statements! Being a radio operator, I can tell you that going to radio shack and buying a $5 (maybe more now) ferrite Core, give the cable a few winds and it will be gone! Do this for the speakers affected. It seems to me that there is a transmitter very close to you causing the problem. It's funny how Rf gets into things. My Brother once had a remote control toy tank...somewhere inside the tank we could hear telephone conversations .. lol we knew that we were receiving such calls when we'd lose control of the tank..haha. Good luck!
