I've got a Model 950 and it's great, but the display is somewhat difficult to read from the couch, especially the volume setting -- you'd think at least that would be larger.

The other preamp products don't really seem to have improved on that. OLEDs are starting to make their way into products (see new Zune HD) -- I'd love to see some updated display tech rather than the old-school clock radio / microwave type displays currently in use.

I would think OLED will get us there soon, since it's easier to manufacture at any given size (compared to traditional LCD panels). Thoughts?

First thought? Cost. The displays we're seeing now are very inexpensive to manufacture. OLED is still expensive, a slight upgrade over LCD video displays and a pretty substantial step up from the simple LCD panels used in 99% of the receivers on the market. I like the idea, but doubt it will be practical for Outlaw's price point for at least several more years.
