Only objection to otherwise nice design is lack of user accessible AC fuse. It is unacceptable to send receiver back to factory if fuse is blown or to take it to local electronic store in case that user warranty expired and user needs special tools to replace it.

You might give Outlaw a call and find out exactly what is involved in a fuse replacement. They did put it inside, but there have been cases in the past where it was not completely forbidden for a user to remove the cover (the Model 950 had a DTS ES software fix that users had the option of installing themselves, and that involved pulling the digital input board out).
