I would like to see the Outlaws make a high current monoblock amp with specifications similar to the following.

500 watts RMS into 8 ohms
1000 watts RMS into 4 ohms
2000 watts RMS into 2 ohms
4000 watts RMS into 1 ohm

For those of us with very inefficient loudspeakers, this would be a nice product (I have Infinity Kappa 9.1 Series IIs that can drop down below 1 ohm impedance when switched to extended bass mode).

Behringer EP2500 would do that.

An Outlaw high current monoblock would be on my shopping list in the future, if they made such a thing. cool At least maybe something that doubles in watts as the ohms are halved.
The M200's look great without a doubt...just seems the more power the merrier.

An amplifier design that scales up (as resistance halves) like that is inherently expensive to do "the right way." And even "the right way" is up for debate...but none of them are cheap. Outlaw seems to make a decent living on the budget-minded enthusiast and I just don't think that kind of shopper is ready to drop 2-3 times the current cost of the existing high end Outlaw amps. Do you?

No way.. smile

I never thought much about how expensive it would be to make. The M200's look like a real deal just the way they are compared to all the others I've seen.
