I just bought the outlaw 770 to pair up with the Denon 3805.
I have a friend who says Outlaw has a seven channel 300 watt per channel amp set for release in the near future. Is this true?
Not that I want to upgrade... I have not even recieved my 770 yet.
But I am currous though.

Yes, the Model 790 is in development - it will be a 7x300W monster. The folks who made it by Outlaw's setup at the Home Entertainment Show last month said that Outlaw was in the process of making some design revisions, which is why it isn't out yet. I got the impression from those posts that it'll be near the tail end of the year before they are likely to start shipping it.

How do you find the 770 with the Denon 3805. I was thinking it would make a good preamp for the 770 or even 7100.

I have not received the 770 yet.
It is supposed to arrive on Monday or Tuesday. Then, I can give you an idea as to how it sounds.

Now to convince the wife to let me keep the 950/770 for the 'bedroom' system =D

i too am eagerly anticipating the 790.

I just hope it has balanced inputs to go with the 990.

The 790 will have balanced inputs - that has been confirmed several times. It would be out now, but they had problems with heat rejection and are apparently redesigning the entire chassis.
